Sprout Moong Usal

Mooga ambat, a Karwari specialty, is a flavorful curry with sprouted green moong beans in a medium spicy, coconut based gravy. Tempered with mustard seeds, curry leaves and dried red chillies, it’s enriched with a coconut onion paste, turmeric and byadgi chillies. A hint of tamarind adds tanginess. Garnished with coriander, this wholesome dish pairs perfectly with chapati or rice.
